Discover the Magic of Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers, thin custom-made shells attached to the teeth's front surface, resemble natural teeth in color, shape, and shine. This cosmetic dentistry innovation offers a lasting solution for various smile issues, helping you achieve confidence and a brighter smile easily.

What Makes Porcelain Veneers Special?

Porcelain veneers resemble real teeth; the clear porcelain lets light pass through like natural enamel. Matching the color ensures they blend seamlessly with your other teeth. A thin layer of enamel is gently removed before applying the veneers to achieve a good fit and natural look. Thanks to advances in dental technology, modern porcelain veneers are thinner and more natural-looking than ever, allowing for a beautiful smile makeover while preserving your natural tooth structure.

The Customized Process of Getting Porcelain Veneers at Dental Arts of Cherry Hills

At Dental Arts of Cherry Hills, we believe every smile is unique. Our personalized approach to crafting porcelain veneers begins with a thorough consultation to understand your concerns, goals, and expectations. Open communication is key to achieving the best results for your new smile.

After assessing your dental health and discussing your preferences, we take impressions of your teeth. These impressions are sent to a state-of-the-art dental lab where skilled technicians create custom veneers that fit seamlessly and appear natural.

Initial Consultation: Tailoring Your Smile

At Dental Arts of Cherry Hills, your journey to a confident smile begins with a consultation. Our cosmetic dentists will assess your needs and preferences, creating a personalized treatment plan. We prioritize patient education, explaining each step of the process and addressing any concerns you may have. Rest assured, we'll ensure your dental health before proceeding with porcelain veneer placement.

Why Porcelain Veneers? The Benefits Unveiled

Porcelain veneers are becoming popular because they can fix many cosmetic concerns while keeping your natural teeth safe. They need less tooth preparation than other procedures like dental crowns. This makes them a more conservative option.

In addition to looking good, porcelain veneers are very strong and resist stains. This means they can help you have a beautiful smile for many years. If you take proper care of your veneers, they can last a long time. You can enjoy your new smile with confidence.

Enhancing Aesthetics with a Natural Look

Porcelain veneers offer a natural-looking solution to enhance your smile by blending seamlessly with your teeth. They address cosmetic concerns such as discoloration, chipped teeth, gaps, and misalignments, providing a smooth and confident smile transformation. Custom-made to match your preferences, these veneers are crafted using advanced technology for a beautiful result.

Durability and Longevity: Investing in Your Smile

Porcelain veneers are durable and ideal for enhancing your smile. Made of high-quality porcelain, they resist stains, chipping, and everyday wear, providing long-lasting beauty. Maintain them by brushing twice daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush and non-abrasive toothpaste, flossing daily, and visiting the dentist regularly for checkups and cleaning. Protect your veneers to enjoy a bright smile for years, as oral health is an investment in your overall well-being.

Caring for Your Porcelain Veneers

Caring for your dental veneers is like taking care of your natural teeth. It all begins with having good oral hygiene. Brush your teeth twice daily, floss daily, and use an antibacterial mouthwash. These steps are essential to stop plaque from building up. Plaque can harm your veneers over time.

Also, visiting the dentist regularly is vital. Our team will check your veneers carefully. We will solve problems and do professional cleanings to improve oral health. You can keep your veneers looking beautiful and strong by following these steps. This way, you can enjoy a bright smile for a long time.

Daily Maintenance for Lasting Shine

In addition to having good oral hygiene habits, adding some simple practices to your daily routine can help keep your porcelain veneers shiny and lasting longer. Here are a few tips for daily care:

  • Watch what you eat and drink: Although porcelain veneers resist stains well, it's a good idea to limit foods and drinks that are strong in color, like coffee, tea, and red wine.
  • Don't use your teeth as tools: Avoid using your teeth to open packages, bite your nails, or chew hard things. Doing so could chip or damage your veneers.
  • Take care of teeth grinding: If you grind your teeth at night, consider using a nightguard. It can protect your veneers from wear and tear.

Adding these easy habits to your daily life helps ensure your new smile stays bright and beautiful for a long time.

What is the difference between a dentist and a cosmetic dentist?

General dentists generally offer mostly preventive and restorative treatments which include regular checkups and cleanings, fillings, root canals, and other types of tooth repair. A cosmetic dentist focuses on improving your smile and can include restorative and cosmetic dental treatments. When you are in search of a cosmetic dentist, be sure to research his/her education, training, and experience in the particular procedure you wish to undergo.
